Danielle Galyer

Danielle Galyer was a history-making swimmer for the University of Kentucky, earning All-America honors in three straight seasons and winning the first individual swimming national championship in school history. Incredibly, she was just as accomplished outside the pool. Maintaining a perfect GPA for four years in a challenging course of study, Galyer was the SEC's Female Scholar Athlete of the Year as a sophomore and won the NCAA Elite 90 Award as both a junior and senior. Her undergraduate work made her well prepared for the next step in her journey. She is now in law school at the University of Florida.

Katie Reed

So put together was Katie Reed that her teammates took to jokingly campaigning on her behalf for President of the United States. “Katie Reed for President,” they liked to say. A gifted player both in the field at shortstop and at the plate, a 4.0 student for the entirety of her Kentucky career and a team captain if there ever was one, Reed did it all. She was an All-SEC selection in her final three seasons and just the third All-American in program history in 2017. Reed followed that up by earning Academic All-America recognition in 2018 and 2019. The Senior CLASS Award winner is now in her first year of dental school while also playing professional softball. After that, there’s no telling what the future holds – and she’ll be eligible to run for President in 2032.
